The son of Lori Vallow, the Idaho mother accused of killing 2 of her children, has been charged with sexual assault

According to police records, the son of Lori Vallow, the Idaho mother accused of killing her two young children, has been charged with sexual assault.

Colby Jordan Ryan, 26, was arrested Saturday in Mesa, Arizona, after his estranged wife accused him of raping her in her home.

The victim, who has not been identified, told officers that Ryan came to her home Wednesday to watch TV, according to a probable cause statement. The spouses are separated and do not live together. The woman told police that the two had engaged in consensual kisses but that she did not want to have sex with Ryan. The woman told Ryan several times to stop but he touched her inappropriately and then raped her, according to a possible cause statement.

Then, Ryan told his wife, “He’s sorry and started crying,” as the document states.

The next day, the woman recorded a conversation with Ryan who allegedly confessed to touching and raping her inappropriately.

During the recorded conversation, the defendant agreed that he had ‘raped’ the victim, depending on the likely cause.

Investigators also said that Ryan “made an oral confession” during an interview with police, the document alleges.

Ryan has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and is being held at the Maricopa County Jail. The lawyer’s information was not available to him.

Ryan is the son of Laurie Vallow Diebell, who—along with her husband, Chad Dibble—was accused of killing her son Joshua “JJ” Fallow, 7, and daughter Tillie Ryan, 17.

Prosecutors alleged that the couple planned to kill Tilly and steal her Social Security benefits due to her father’s death. They claimed that the couple also killed Joshua.

Authorities in Idaho began looking into the couple in November 2019 after family members reported the two children missing. The couple lied to the police about the whereabouts of the children, once telling detectives that Joshua was staying with an out-of-state friend.

The couple eventually stopped cooperating with the police and left the state. Found in January 2020 in Hawaii. Later that year, the children’s remains were discovered buried on Chad Diebel’s property.

Court documents state that Joshua was buried in a pet cemetery and that Tilly’s remains were dismembered and burned in a fire pit.

The couple are also involved in at least one other death. According to the authorities, the two married weeks after the unexpected death of Chad Dipple’s wife, Tami Dipple. The death was initially judged to be natural but investigators exhumed the body so that an autopsy could be performed. The autopsy, which was completed last year, established that the death was murder.

According to the prosecution, Diebel Vallow and her husband exchanged text messages saying they believed Tammy Daybell was “in limbo” and “possessed by a spirit named Viola” prior to her murder.

Dayble Vallow has also been charged with conspiracy to commit murder in Arizona in connection with the death of her ex-husband, Charles Vallow. He was shot and killed in 2019 by Double Vault’s brother, Alex Cox, who claimed it was in self-defense. Cox later died of what police said were natural causes.
